We were honored to be asked to produce 30 custom platforms for the Museum of Art and Design NY’s retrospective on the works of famed sculptor and robot owner Wendell Castle. Castle has a 50+ year career building functional sculptures that bridge the gap of art and mid-century-modern furniture. Even more impressive is how he has adapted to the new area, utilizing digital fabrication techniques and robotic milling to produce large wooden and cast bronze works. It was truly a special gift to be able to make the bases that display his work.
